SKA Data Challenge 2
As detailed in the SKA Data Challenge 2 dedicated web page, INAF ICT will offer support and resources for all the astronomers that would like to investigate and analyse the simulated HI data cube. We choose to host up to eight concurrent teams by allocating the same amount of resources for each of them.
In order to meet as much as possible the habits and necessities of the different teams, we will provide two types of infrastructures, i.e. VM-based and cluster-based, both equipped with several tools that may result useful to address this challenge: we foresee up to four team accounts per infrastructure, then each team will be free to organize the allocated resources among their members. In any case, we strongly recommend getting acquainted with the chosen infrastructure prior to effectively operating for the challenge.
