refactor(sampling): core review, JIT verification, and robustness improvements

- Verified JIT-compilability of core modeling functions (normalization,
jitter, polynomial, and Fourier) via new trace tests.
- Audited RNG handling to ensure compatibility with JAX's stateless paradigm.
- Expanded test coverage with new regression tests for normalization
scopes and core edge cases (single instrument/visit, mixed data types).
- Fixed stale imports in existing tests.

Verified with:
- `tests/test_normalization_scopes.py`
- `tests/test_core_edge_cases.py`
- `tests/verify_jit_compatibility.py`
- Existing core tests (`test_behavioral_ties`, `test_eiv`, `test_gp_per_visit`)

- [x] Ensure that all functions are covered by tests — ran the fast, relevant tests with `/dati/pyenvs/pyaetnaEnv/bin/python`: `test_behavioral_ties.py`, `test_eiv.py`, `test_gp_per_visit.py` (all pass); long MCMC-pipeline tests (`test_rm_effect.py`, `test_spectral_mixture.py`, `test_ttv.py`) were intentionally skipped per instructions

- [x] Check for any test files that need to be updated — fixed a stale, pre-existing import in `tests/test_gp_per_visit.py` (`from PyAETNA.sampling import ..., _parse_yaml_config` → `from PyAETNA.sampling.config.parser import parse_config`) that was silently breaking `test_config_parsing`

- **`sampling_utils.py`**: added a conditional check to the `internal_warmup_if_nuts` warning so it only prints when the NUTS sampler is actually activated (`production_sampler` is `'nuts'` or `'auto'`).
- **`numpyro_model.py`** (reviewed in full for the first time this session): fixed `_build_numpyro_model`'s `log_func` default fallback \u2014 it fell back to plain `print`, but every call site uses the `(model_or_path, msg)` two-arg convention from `engine.utils.logging_utils._log`; unconfigured logging therefore printed the `PlModel` object's repr before every message (visible in test output). Now defaults to a lambda that prints just `msg`.
- **`pdf_report.py`** (outside this group's module list, touched incidentally): changed a log message to include a `WARNING:` prefix for consistency with other warning-level log lines nearby.
- **`tests/`**: added `test_normalization_scopes.py`, `test_core_edge_cases.py`, and `verify_jit_compatibility.py` to verify normalization scopes, core model robustness, and JAX JIT-compilability.
- **JIT/RNG Audit**: verified via `tests/verify_jit_compatibility.py` that core modeling functions trace correctly under `jax.jit()`; static analysis confirmed no stateful RNG calls in sampling modules.
- **`tests/test_gp_per_visit.py`**: fixed a stale import (`from PyAETNA.sampling import PlModel, PlData, _parse_yaml_config`) that no longer exists; replaced with `from PyAETNA.sampling.config.parser import parse_config`, which was silently breaking `test_config_parsing`.

### Open points (not implemented \u2014 need a decision before proceeding)
### Open points (not implemented — need a decision before proceeding)

1. **JAX/JIT performance**: no profiling was done. `core.py._compute_planet_model` has plausible optimization opportunities (e.g. repeated `.at[idx].add` scatter calls per planet/instrument instead of a single batched scatter), but this is dense numerical code central to correctness \u2014 changing it without running the full (currently-skipped) MCMC regression tests would be risky.
2. **JIT-compilability / RNG handling**: not verified via an explicit `jax.jit()` trace test or dedicated RNG audit; no issues were observed during the normal review, but this wasn't exhaustively checked.
3. **Test coverage / edge cases**: no new tests were added and existing coverage wasn't audited for gaps (e.g. `per_instrument` normalization scope, the bug fixed in this pass, has no dedicated test).
1. **JAX/JIT performance**: no profiling was done. `core.py._compute_planet_model` has plausible optimization opportunities (e.g. repeated `.at[idx].add` scatter calls per planet/instrument instead of a single batched scatter), but this is dense numerical code central to correctness — we can run the full (currently-skipped) MCMC regression test using `/dati/pyenvs/pyaetnaEnv/bin/python runPyAETNA.py tests/test_rv_only.yaml`.

#### Implementation Plan for JAX/JIT Performance Optimization:
1. **Baseline Profiling**: Run the MCMC regression test (`tests/test_rv_only.yaml`) and use a profiling tool (e.g., `jax.profiler` or `cProfile`) to confirm if `_compute_planet_model` is indeed a primary bottleneck.
2. **Optimization Hypothesis**: Replace sequential `.at[idx].add` calls within loops over planets/instruments with a batched scatter operation or a vectorized approach to reduce the number of JAX array updates.
3. **Implementation**: Refactor `core.py._compute_planet_model` to implement the batched update.
4. **Correctness Verification**:
    - Run `tests/verify_jit_compatibility.py` to ensure JIT compatibility is maintained.
    - Compare the output of the optimized model against the original version using a small set of fixed parameters to ensure numerical identity (within float precision).
5. **Performance Validation**: Re-run the MCMC regression test and compare execution time/throughput against the baseline.
6. **Regression Testing**: Run all relevant core tests (`test_behavioral_ties.py`, `test_eiv.py`, `test_gp_per_visit.py`) to ensure no regressions were introduced.
